Before My WordPress blog disappears …

As I wrote in the last post, I’m switching over to Substack (it’s free, while WordPress charges $96 a year). Some of you have already subscribed to my Steve’s Stuff Substack page so … thank you! Subscribing is free and will always be free. And, no ads. Weren’t those ads annoying? Yes. And some of them were just gross. No more foot fungus photos!

Steve’s Stuff will have some cycling posts, but will be about more. Anything and everything I think is interesting, humorous and worth writing about. I am planning a cycling trip to the French Alps in the fall so stay tuned as I will certainly be writing about that..

Here’s the link to my Steve’s Stuff story on cycling superstitions in the 1890s, here’s the link a recent post from a long-ago French cycling adventure, when we climbed atop the amazing Pont du Gard. And here the link to my story about how they sent a boat loaded up with animals over Niagara Falls, just to see what would happen. And here’s one about Alphonse King, the man who cycled and walked across Niagara Falls. Scroll through the posts and see if this is something that might interest you – and then consider subscribing.

Thanks again for reading Biking France; I appreciate it and hope you’ll continue to follow me.

I can still post here for another couple weeks until I either have to renew or lose it (which I won’t do), so I may add a post or two to let you know what’s happening on Steve’s Stuff.
